A&E SpR (Emergency Medicine) Location: New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton Contract Type: Full-Time Salary: Competitive Start Date: As soon as possible About the Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced A&E SpR to join the Emergency Department at New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy and dynamic Emergency Department, managing a wide range of acute presentations while supporting junior medical staff within a fast-paced clinical environment
Key Responsibilities Work across both Majors and Minors within the Emergency Department Assess, diagnose, and manage emergency presentations safely and effectively Support and supervise junior doctors during shifts Work collaboratively within the wider multidisciplinary Emergency Medicine team Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records Contribute to maintaining high clinical standards and patient flow within the department What We’re Looking For Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practise Previous UK Emergency Medicine experience at SpR level or above Valid ALS and ATLS certification Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills Ability to work effectively within a busy team environment What’s on Offer Competitive pay rates Full-time rota with 40+ hours available Opportunity to work within a supportive Emergency Department team Ongoing professional development opportunities Assistance with accommodation search if required Opportunity to gain experience within a busy acute NHS setting About New Cross Hospital New Cross Hospital is part of The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust and is one of the region’s major acute hospitals, providing a wide range of emergency and specialist services within a modern and supportive clinical environment.
